what have we done with your help?

Since its inception, the Dick Tiger Foundation has awarded tuition scholarships to twenty deserving high school students—reducing barriers to education and supporting pathways to higher achievement, and has prioritized the renovation of primary and secondary school facilities.

Through organized sports programs and events, the Foundation creates safe, structured environments where youth can develop goal-setting skills, resilience, and confidence.

OUR INTIATIVES

The Foundation promotes Dick Tiger’s vision and legacy of empowerment. So far, we have emphasized renovation of primary and secondary school infrastructures in rural and urban communities. The Foundation believes that good education offers the most direct path towards individual and community empowerment, a way out of poverty.

DICK TIGER IS CREDITED WITH HELPING TO REJUVENATE BOXING DURING THE 1950's and 1960's BOXING INDUSTRY RECESSION.

Richard Ihetu, A.K.A Dick Tiger is undoubtedly one of the greatest boxers in prize-fight history. He is the second middle-weight boxer, of all time, to move up in class from the middleweight division to the light heavyweight class, and remains the only boxer from the African continent ever, to attain such a status. Dick Tiger is credited with helping to rejuvenate boxing during the 1950’s and 60’s boxing industry recession.
