The Dick Tiger Foundation (DTF) is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) public charity that promotes Dick Tiger’s vision and legacy of empowerment. The DTF is dedicated to advancing girls’ education, women’s’ health, and youth empowerment in underserved Nigerian communities. Through targeted, community-based interventions, DTF works to remove structural barriers that prevent girls and young people from accessing education, health resources, and opportunities for long-term self-reliance.
The DTF believes in gender equality through cultural, social, economic, and political support to women and girls. Discipline achieved through individual and team sports will be the hallmark of the Foundation. As a world champion boxer, Dick Tiger achieved fame and acclaim, honored his nation, and supported his community. The goal of this Foundation is to promote these principles as his legacy.

The Dick Tiger Foundation (DTF) advances education as a cornerstone of individual opportunity, community resilience, and long-term economic mobility. We work to expand access to quality learning environments and resources for all students in under-served rural and urban communities.
Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded tuition scholarships to twenty deserving high school students—reducing barriers to education and supporting pathways to higher achievement, and has prioritized the renovation of primary and secondary school facilities.
The Dick Tiger Foundation is committed to promoting economic self-sufficiency and sustainable livelihoods for economically distressed individuals and families. Through partnerships with local vocational institutions and skilled instructors, the Foundation delivers hands-on training programs that equip participants with marketable skills.
Programs focus on out-of-school youth and adults, offering instruction in areas such as carpentry, tailoring, industrial baking, and office and administrative skills, among others. These initiatives are designed to increase employability, generate income opportunities, and foster entrepreneurship.
In addition, DTF collaborates with financial institutions and community partners to provide financial literacy education, responsible personal financial management training, and access to basic financial services—helping participants build long-term economic stability.
